What happens if I disagree with the new rental and do not apply under the Scheme?

If the leaseholder/occupier does not agree with the new rental of €500 and fail to apply under this Scheme, or does not sign the relative new lease agreement, Government may opt to grant leaseholder/occupier a further 6 months, commencing from 1st January 2015, in order for leaseholder/occupier to sanction his position, failing which Government shall proceed to issue a non-renewal notice to terminate the current lease and take back possession of the room/structure through an Eviction Order.
